This is a lovely old building which has been furnished in keeping with the period with some quirky and fun art and decor.
The apartment is very spacious there were 4 of us but there was plenty of space for the 6 it caters for.

The showers were lovely and hot with nice toiletries, beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains worked a treat.

It is ideally close to the quays for shopping and dining and the secure gated parking was wonderful.

Host great at communicating and obviously cares a lot about his properties - some fantastic art going up the walls on the stairs.

Beautiful throughout. Lovely kitchen. Parking secure and walkable to the docks. lovely view over the park. Will return. Decoration and the history of the building was interesting and tasteful. Lots of clear communication from the owner

A fantastic stay here! Perfect for what we were looking for. The place was exceptionally clean and well looked after. It snowed whilst we were there, and the heating warmed up so fast! Very quiet and peaceful at night. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area. Great communication from the owners too. Many thanks!

What a beautiful place to stay! Totally unexpected grandeur. This place is by far better than any hotel. It is set overlooking a cricket ground with secure parking. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated to an exceptionally high standard and yet retaining a lived in feeling. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting whether on vacation or business as this is a 5 minute walk to the quays and cheaper than a hotel! Thank you so much!

This is wonderful place to stay, and we really love the apartment, location and ease of check-in. The only points I would make are:
1. whilst most surfaces and tops were clean, the areas under the beds, coffee table and large sofa were not cleaned and had objects underneath them, one of which our small dog swallowed.
2. there is no dishwasher (not an issue in itself), but there was no washing rack to leave plates etc to dry.
3. there is a real lack of enough cutlery (forks, spoons, etc)

However, that aside, we would stay here again.

This was a last-minute booking for us as we had a wedding to attend the next day. All I can say is WOW! It wasn’t just a great stay, it was an experience. I felt refreshed the next day thanks to the incredibly comfortable mattress. The whole room was relaxing and welcoming. I would 100% recommend staying here. (The decor has even given me inspiration for my own home.) Great job with this room! Thanks.

Stayed in apartment 16 at judge’s lodging,very quirky and different, we absolutely loved it , all you need is provided, and great proximity to to Quay, everything is within walking distance. Parking is safe and secure.
There are many different apartments to suit every one .
Lovely comfortable apartment, will definitely stay here again, perhaps try a different apartment just as they are all so individual and welcoming.

Had a relaxing long weekend break with friends. Storm Bert didn't help the visit to the Christmas market but didn't impact our stay at this lovely apartment. Spacious, warm, very comfortable beds in the classically decorated former judges lodgings. Eye catching art in the stair wells and lovely Christmas decorations on the entrances. Definitely a place we could see ourselves visiting again. Great hosts who were helpful and informative in planning our weekend.
