Schöne Umgebung. Netter Empfang. Zimmer ok, könnte aber etwas großzügiger bemessen sein. Leider wurden teilweise billige Materialien in der Badausstattung verbaut. Massiver Schlitz an Zimmertür. Restaurant und Frühstück gut. Seminarraum schön.

Stayed at Woodland Grange whilst doing a course, from Monday to Friday. The staff were incredibly helpful, in particular Harrison in the restaurant was superb. The lunches were exceptional. Freshly prepared interesting salads and delicious food options every day. My room was well kept But just speaking with others there at the same time I think perhaps I didn’t Get one of the best ones.
Wonderful staff, lovely atmosphere a really great place to stay
Thank you to all, and I will be dreaming about the broccoli salad for many months to come

The room was fine, but by far what made my stay here so good was the service. The reception staff were so friendly and went over and above. I had a spider in my bedroom and they sent a lovely maintenance guy to rescue the spider.
Patricia on reception was also very friendly and attentive, all of them were lovely.
The chef was very kind. I have very complicated dietary requirements and he made me feel that it was no trouble at all.
Would highly recommend this hotel on the service alone. Thank you so much

Life at The Maples

We held a business meeting for the day, with a few team members staying overnight beforehand. The rooms are modern and clean and the food was amazing with a great selection. Plenty of drinks stations for during the day with great little snack bars. This hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at for business meetings. Meeting room was well set up with lots of plugs, TV and reliable WIFI.

Have now stayed here three times. Each time the room we have had has been nice and clean. First night bar meal was good. Second night booked restaurant, but had same menu as bar menu? Maybe because it was a bank holiday Monday? No catch of the day, and no peas available with our fish and chips. Sat by window which had lots of dead flies - more cleaning required. Also no remote control for the tv, on our first night, housekeeping did provide one the second night. It’s the little things that make a stay enjoyable. Really not sure we would consider staying again. On the plus side all staff were lovely. Just came away feeling disappointed.

The room was bitterly cold when we entered, it hit you as colder than the hall. It never got better as the heating never came on. I had the impression that the room was in the middle of a make over, as the wall paint was patchy, there was an industrial sized fan in the corner, and the grout in the floor tiles in the bathroom had been removed partially, making them loose and wobbly. The restaurant wasn't available, so ate in the bar, which was the best part as the food and service was good. So was the breakfast. Not one to recommend, especially at the price.

I have just enjoyed another night at this truly excellent hotel on the occasion of the Vintage Sports Car Club Marshals dinner .
.
The staff are all great but I must mention Nabila and Mark who sorted out my overheating room and put me into another one.

The entrance to Woodland Grange is a right turn as soon as you leave the roundabout. Be ready.
This is a lovely clean place, very well kept, plenty of parking, and lovely staff. The food was great. Definitely use again
